Monday, March 29th

Drove from Tucson, AZ to San Antonio, New Mexico. I drove the motorhome, Carol and Ruth the rent Malibu and John his 5th wheel. We arrived at the Bosque Birdwatchers RV Park about 4 pm and wanting to take the show on the road, literally, Carol and Ruth drove us out to mile marker 11 on Highway 380, the furthest point we had previously walked, dropped us off and picked us up 3 miles down the road. Not far, but a beginning. I found a bungee cord. Afterwards we had supper at the Buckhorn Saloon and Restaurant. This is the restaurant that was featured on one of Bobby Flay's Throwdown food shows. John, Ruth and I had the now famous Green Chili Cheeseburger and Carol had a taco salad. And throw in some homemade fries. Delicious ! Stay tuned .........
