Sunday, May 16th


We attended the First Baptist Church of Portales this morning. Traditional services were held at 9 am, so after church, John and I walked 2 miles and Ruth walked one.. After a leftover chili lunch, Carol and Ruth joined me and we walked another 3 miles, Carol walking 2 and Ruth walking 1. Ruth found a penny and a trailer hitch with ball. I found a spoon. Tonight it's pizza at Pizza Hut. Tomorrow, we cross the NM/Texas state line. Stay tuned ......
