We walked another 12 miles today and the high point was when we drove out to the starting place.

John and I had wondered why we hadn't seen any wildlife, not counting Ruth and Carol of course.

We had seen an abundance of wildlife on our previous walks, elk, deer, antelope, coyote, wild hogs, etc. but nothing on this walk. Today broke the ice, we saw 4 deer off to our right as we drove out of the park this morning.

At about the halfway point we could see the Red River as it flows fairly close to the highway. On the other side, Texas.

We walked through Waurika today. Passed by the Sonic, the only franchised fast food restaurant in town.  We found 27 cents and a 25.06 shell. Stayed tuned....
